We stayed at Torii-Kuguru in a spacious and fully furnished kitchen. the western common area with a table and chair was perfect for relaxing. the big room had a comfortable bed with a curtain and socket for privacy and convenience. the complimentary shampoo and shower gel were a nice touch. the shower cabin was great, providing a good shower experience. We also enjoyed spending time in the small courtyard and appreciated the unique Torii at the entrance. the kind staff were very helpful and offered great tips on local attractions. Plus, the location was convenient, with the main station within easy walking distance.

The breakfast had a great variety of delicious food, the room was spacious and equipped with a Japanese futon and a kitchen, plus the location was exceptionally nice and close to the Korakuen Edo Period Gardens.

my recent stay in okayama was great, but my stay at torii-kuguru was even better. the design was interesting, the bed was comfortable, and the common room was cozy with interesting people. the staff were lovely and the nearby lounge had great food and drinks.

Stylish and adorable Japanese-style old house with helpful staff. Conveniently equipped communal space with lots of natural light and character. Two restrooms and bathrooms were ample for guests' needs. Fantastic stay, would definitely return if visiting again.

I always stay at my favorite place in Okayama. Staff are helpful and provided town info on my 1st stay. Perfect amenities: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, laundry, TV room. Returning for New Year. No regrets!

The hostel's location is a bit far from the city center but the directions provided are excellent, making it easy to find. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for local restaurants and providing suggestions for nearby places like supermarkets and convenience stores. the guesthouse has a cosy vintage vibe and well-maintained facilities. the shared showers and toilets are clean, and there is a nice common area to relax in.

The curtains in the rooms may not offer complete privacy as they are a bit flimsy.
